The Yunohama Hot Springs are Chloride springs.
Due to salt being the main component, you will feel a slight tingle in the back of your throat when drinking them.
The name “Pleasant Spring” comes from how you are unlikely to catch a chill after getting out of the spring. The spring is also known as the “Healing Spring” as the chloride components are known to have bactericidal effects.
Kameya has pride in the plentiful amount of water coming out of the hot spring.
Not only the common hot springs, but hot springs in the individual rooms are also fully natural, meaning they have come straight from the spring and has not been processed.
Water straight from the hot spring is constantly added, creating a flow of water that enables the baths to always have clean and sanitized water.
This is applied to all the baths within the facility, which ensures guests to have a relaxing time without having to worry about uncleanliness.
Within the Yunohama Onsen, Kameya is the only Ryokan that offers drinkable hot springs. According to folk tails, not only turtles, but white swans also rested their wings in the Yunohama hot springs. Known for their symbol of longevity, we are sure that the taste of the spring will give depth to overall experience.
The drinkable hot spring is placed near the front entrance, we recommend you take a sip.
